mom31257
I thought I would show a picture of dd's new bulletin board. We took dd's plain corkboard bulletin board and made it match her room. I hope it will inspire others!
plansrme
We just painted my 11 yo's room a very, very similar color. My mantra throughout the redecorating process was, "It's her room; I don't have to sleep here," but you know, in the end, with new bedding (I also resisted the bedding she picked out), lamp, accessories, etc., it looks awesome. As much as it pains me to admit it, she was dead-on in her choices. Terri

Here is a blog post that shows it right after we painted and put in her new stuff last Labor Day weekend.
KatieJ
Verty cute! I am glad I found this post. I am redoing my sewing room with paint, new shelves, etc..and now I may just recover my bulletin with some fabric. I am going to put some fabric in various size quilting hoops and hang them for decoration, but the bulleting board would look darling this way too! BTW..I put a bulletin board over my sewing table to pin pattern directions on while I am sewing. There is usually a stray button and some ribbon hanging on it too. That's what I love about this board...getting great new ideas and encouragement. That's why I wanted to post it, to share.
