Dee22
Any advice for someone trying to fill out an application for a job with little to no job history? I'm just trying to get an hourly position in a retail store but I haven't worked since 1992 before my first child was born. I've lost my contact information for that job. It was on a military based where my husband was stationed and we've moved nine times since then. I can't find the address or remember the guy I worked for or even the job title... Do I even try to put the information down? Any advice would be very much appreciated... Edited August 11, 2011 by Dee22
Calendula
I'd focus on non-conventional "jobs", making sure to be clear that they were without pay. Then at the bottom I would include as much information about your one position as you can rustle up. Volunteer, board, organizational positions can all help.
