TXBeth
We have decided to take the plunge and buy a new queen bed (frame, mattress, and box spring). We have a box spring and mattress on the floor, with no frame. But the mattress is lousy and we wake up sore and achy every single morning. Where is the best place to shop? Mattress firm? Mattress Giant? There is a Rooms to Go Outlet near here; do they sell individual pieces or just the entire room? Thanks!
homeschoolally
I've noticed some great deals in the scratch and dent area of Sams Club over the years. Always said if we needed another mattress we'd try there first.
Harriet Vane
IKEA. Can I suggest you consider a latex mattress? Apparently they are dust mite repellent, and are also environmentally friendlier.
clementine
My advice to you comes from experience. The mattress stores are very high pressure - so much so, that we got very mad & vowed never to return. I would say Sams/Costco or a furniture store. We bought ours at Macy's, but spent only $1000 for our pillowtop set (big sale & had a coupon).
