UmMusa
Can you share how you make plans for these books? I'll be using grade 5/6 Cycles this year and then Systems. I'm assuming since there are four topics over two school years that we can cover one topic roughly per semester. Is this how it's done? I have all the corresponding books like homework, higher order thinking skills, tests, and activity book. It's my first time to use this so I'm looking for some guidance! I did the same thing and ordered all the books as you did. Then I ended up ditching everything except the textbook and lab book and using it as a supplement to BFSU. It does dovetail nicely with Nebel's first book.
DragonFaerie
I just got 3/4 for DS. I'm using the textbook, homework and HOTS books and then supplementing with Aha! Science and Simple Schooling's interactive science lessons. It took a little bit of doing but I was able to pretty much coordinate the online lessons with the appropriate MPH lessons. The only testing he'll do are the online quizzes through Aha! and SS.
