Ame E.
if I buy the book and solutions, do I need the DVD? I am not a science person. Has anyone used the DVD and found it helpful? I also am wondering if you have to do the dissection experiments. Ame
tvaleri
Apologia science is written to the student. All you absolutely need is the student text and the test/solutions book which contains the answers to the tests, module summaries, and study guides. Dissections not necessary, but do add an element to any study. Personally, I don't like them, but my students do, so I let them have at it =) If you are referring to the Red Wagon Tutorials, no they are not necessary. There are three different cd's: 1)the companion cd which contains pronunciations, animations, and videos to enhance the course. 2) The full course on cd in which case you would not need the hard copy of the book. 3) Audio cd of Marine Science aimed at students who don't like to /have trouble with reading. Ame E.
no it's a DVD of Sherri Seligsman giving classroom instruction on the course. It's $100 through Christian Book. I bought it because I thought it might help him.. Ame
