DarcyB
Just an interesting idea of where you are today ...
Margo out of lurking
Overflowing. Every day. Life isn't anywhere close to my idea of "perfect," yet we are so very blessed. I am sure circumstances could put me to "half full," but they aren't that way at this point. I have two amazing kids who love God. I have my eternal hope and faith in Jesus; that takes me beyond whatever might be thrown my way here.
ma23peas
I'm not sure how, but for as long as I can remember, my glass has always been overflowing...never anything less...however, I married a man whose liquids in his glass are exponentially evaporating by the nanosecond... Miss Peregrine
I voted other because I didn't even get a glass today. :glare:
6packofun
I said "Other" because my glass is very, very slowly filling. LOL Not sure it's even at the halfway point yet, but it's going UP and that's a good thing on any day. :)
Jen in PA
I woke up too early, so just half full. After my nap I'm sure it will be overflowing.
jenL
Half full today because we've struggled through a rough start consisting of several meltdowns, but things seem to be improving slowly... one drop at a time :D.
Renthead Mommy
Hey when you're 9yo SON wants to watch and movie and play legos with you while you organize school stuff. So he picked one of his favorite movies. Mama Mia. So we're sitting here having a relaxing summer moring, singing along. And he knows the words better than I do! So yeah we're more than half full around here. Usually overflowing. But I'm also married to a "the glass isn't just half empty, it's shattered on the floor and everyone's running around bare foot!!" type. Somebody's got to balance him out! LOL! elegantlion
Licked the glass dry yesterday, it shattered. No glass today, waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop. Tiptoeing around the shards of broken glass from yesterday. Last Wednesday was decent though. :glare:
Ginevra
Half full. There is a feng shui concept (not that I'm an expert) that says something like always have room to receive. I try to stay in that place.
Janie Grace
Half full b/c dh took off the morning to take all (5) kids out to the coffee shop for a couple of hours (there are games and toys there for kids)! Got to finally finish my homeschool planning in a SILENT house. Not overflowing, though, b/c I was up at 4:00 with the baby and am beat. Pamela H in Texas
I have a migraine and my big kids are not here to help with my little kids. I'm losing this battle.
swellmomma
Today as of this moment it is overflowing. THe kids are happy and playing peacefully. Woke up to Ds winning a big prize. My sister called that she bringing fruit home from her vacation for me to can. The house is a mess, We have not started school today but right now it is still overflowing with blessings and contentment. NOw it is only 9:30am so I am sure at some point today it will dwindle, but at least I know that for today it will not completely empty
elfgivas
glass? there's supposed to be a glass? today is dress rehearsal day. eight hours, 23 dances for 2 of my girls.... the last three days have been pictures and final rehearsals in the studio days. so what we're doing is treading water, awash in blessings and wondering if we'll manage to stay afloat until tonight. then we get a day off. then there are three shows on saturday. and then its done. right now we're icing and heating knees and ankles.... glass? really? how do you dance in a glass? you mean, gasp, there's more to life than dance? really? oh my.... ann
nmoira
A cup is meant to be drained, preferably in good company. I've never understood the "cup overflowing" metaphor, as it seems like a waste to me.
