I don't have experience with that sauce, I would say go ahead and try it.

 

In general, I put sweet (fruit based) type sauces on pork or dry roasted beef. I prefer savory type sauces for chicken.

 

Eta: hit post too soon. If you already have the sauce and the chicken breast I say go for it.

That's why I asked. The chicken breasts are sitting there waiting to be cooked and the sauce is in the cupboard and I'm too lazy to think about anything other than broiling and dumping the sauce on top.

 

I briefly thought about making a teriyaki sauce for the chicken, but this is much less effort.
