ThatCyndiGirl
I read the reviews on Amazon, does that count? :D
Plucky
I read the reviews on Amazon, does that count? :D I only saw one review. It's also a paperback for $18. I might buy it if it was $11, but it seems a little overpriced.
ThatCyndiGirl
Yeah, you were right, there is only one review. I guess I made up the other one in my head. :) I wonder if my library has it.....

Guest FranStewart
Hi, True Blue and ThatCyndiGirl, Thanks for your discussion about "Making College Pay: Strategies for Choosing Wisely, Doing Well & Maximizing Your Return." I wanted to answer your question about whether your local library would have a copy. Unfortunately, the answer is not yet. We are an independent operation, and we are still in the process of getting the book available nationally through bookstores and libraries. If you would like to get a sense of the topics we cover, you're welcome to visit our website, www.makingcollegepay.com. We have excerpts from most chapters posted there. Although, as you noted, the book is paperback and lists for $18, we hope that our pragmatic, strategic view of the college decision will ultimately save students and families money and heartache. If you visit our website, you will see that we are offering PTAs and other student-focused organizations an opportunity to turn the book into a fund raiser. Non-profit organizations that think the book may be of interest to their members can buy it from us at a significantly reduced price, set the price to sell to interested members and keep the difference. Currently, there is only one Amazon review, but Dr. Helen's blog posted a positive review yesterday. You can read it at http://www.drhelen.blogspot.com/. We do believe that "Making College Pay" is a helpful resource for families. Best of luck to you -- and thanks again for your interest.
