AuntieM
Never heard it, but love it! Well, maybe not the actual word (it's a bit awkward), but the concept. That's the reason I do not like to shop with other people. Or maybe now I will, and just teach them some new vocabulary.
MamaSheep
I love you Dawn. That was just the word I always needed and never knew existed. Thank you!

Hoggirl
I lived in Yorkshire for two years, but I did not come across this word. I also have an English/Yorkshire, Yorkshire/English dictionary, but it is not in there. But, I DO like it! Great, now when people are disturbed by the fact that I don't have a cell phone, a kindle, an ipad, a whatever, I can say I thoil them. AuntieM
Okay, Dawn, now that I am enjoying this new bit of vocabulary, I have a question. What's the correct pronunciation? I assumed it rhymes with "oil," but when I told my dh about the word, it occurred to me that I've not actually heard the word, just read it.
