1bassoon
I'm in foreign language woes, everyone. . . . We have an older version of Rosetta Stone Spanish. It's fine, but Level 2 has no tests- just a workbook. Sigh. I'd really like something with a little more "oomph" for my son's Spanish 2 course. So, I'm actually considering ordering Fluenz, and using it for not only my ds, but the next three to come along. Anyone have any experience? It looks quite good. . . . . . but I'd love to hear from someone else. My other option is to just order either Bob Jones or Abeka Spanish 2, and use that as his grammar portion. . . . . Thoughts? Feedback? Thanks!
AngieW in Texas
That's one of the programs I was considering for my dd, but I ended up deciding on Visual Link Spanish. They have a fabulous 6-month return policy, so you're not just stuck if you end up not liking it. The only problem is that I think that return policy is only on their level 1. I'd recommend doing their level 1 anyway just to make sure what level your kids would be ready for. It may be that you'd find your kids were ready for level 2 and you'd be able to return it for level 2 at least. My dd did all of level 1 and part of level 2. She's going to take Spanish I and II at the cc now.
