melissad2
There is a mandatory meeting of the homeschool association that I am joining tomorrow night and since I am new to all of this....do I take my kids or leave them home? DH cannot attend as he will be at work and the 2yo is an early to bed kind of kid so do I take the 4yo or leave him home? melissad2
Mandatory meeting to me says business meeting, no kids. I would leave the kids at home with someone. Thanks, that is what I was leaning towards.
Night Elf
I'm surprised they didn't specify that. I've never belonged to an association, but I did attend a small meeting for an organization that offers classes. The kids who were there played in another room so they wouldn't disrupt the meeting. melissad2
I'd say if you able to not bring your kids it will overall be a better experience for you (and your kid would probably be bored to tears). If you MUST then you must. It's a group of homeschoolers...I'd at least hope they would have some understanding towards that. Absolutely :D My mom will be available to watch them for me!
