Guest sseibert
Hi, My 6 yo kindergartner is very artistic. He loves to draw CONSTANTLY. I had planned on doing HWOT but then realized he would LOVE cursive. Plus if he does go to traditional school, the one he would go to starts cursive in K as well. So I've looked at the different cursive styles and I'm leaning towards D'nealian. But I can't find "curriculum" to teach it? I found a few workbooks from Pearson (upper case & lower case) Am I missing something? I feel like I need a manual to guide me! Thanks for your help! Lily_Grace
There are some old workbooks by Scott, Foresman and Company that we used to teach D'nealian. No teacher manuals, but they're pretty self explanatory with everything from how to sit to how to make the strokes. They're also non-consumable except for the exercise books. Awesome, awesome resource. I think we used the same ones in school when I was growing up.
Guest sseibert
What about A Beka's cursive program? How does that compare to D'Nealian?

Rosie_0801
I only asked the other day, and was told Cursive First uses D'Nealian. I can't see any difference between that and Zaner-Bloser, so I think I'm going to go with Pictures in Cursive coz it's pretty. :tongue_smilie: Rosie
nansk
You can download this Dnelian cursive book page-by-page.
