Someone stole 41 cookies:

Okay, this mom kinda scares me. I picture her out on the prairie in cowboy boots, and shotgun in hand - ready to 'git anyone who crosses her path.

Not part of clue: (I think she's really nice, though. ;))

Remudamom! Who'd have thought it of her? :svengo:

brb with a clue

Oh bummer, I've had this one saved up for days, but she doesn't have visitor messages activated! I'll have to think of something else!

In the meantime, there are nasty rumours that someone "fair dinkum" stole cookies, but they are completely unfounded. If you are desperate for gossip, you can work that out.

Fair dinkum?

Check your Aussie slang dictionary. :tongue_smilie:

But the fair dinkum person doesn't wear striped pajamas, so you don't need to worry about her for the purposes of this game. That was just a ploy to stall for time.

And now I'm going to go see Harry Potter, hoo roo!

:)

Oh rats!! I thought I was using it in context.

You: "Someone in striped pajamas stole cookies."

Me: "Fair Dinkum?"

Maybe I had the wrong dictionary. I got the impression it was Aussie for "Seriously?" It made me think of that recent thread.

Oh sorry! I assumed you were being an ignorant non-Australian. Cutting tall poppies is another Australian sport. So now I've been cut back to size. :o

Harry Potter was good. I think Bellatrix' intruder alarm was my favourite bit.

Ok, so what's the story behind the striped pajamas?

Tigers have stripes. In the Winnie the Pooh movie (remember I have preschoolers :p) Tigger says his reflection has tickly striped pajamas.

Sorry I'm not up to Perry's clue giving standard.:001_huh::lol:

Give me a sec to figure this out.

Ok Someone stole 44 cookies. Apparently she needed them for the Thanksgiving dinner she is preparing.

I found the thief! RaeAnne stole the 44 cookies.

Someone stole 46 cookies!

Clue - "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them."

Sebastian did it! Great clue!

She is friend to Gandalf.

Clue: Someone stole 50 cookies from the cookie jar. Maybe she is sharing them with her young parrotheads.

ETA: Now what do I do? This person's profile won't let me post the message. I keep getting an error message.

ETA again: Okay, I've posted a message in this person's visitor profile. Unfortunately it isn't the correct message, but it does indicate that she took 50 cookies.
