CarolinaHomeschooler
Registration for our trips to Space Camp and Washington DC ends this week (July 13 and July 15). We'll travel to Space Camp on the weekend of September 2-4. Homeschool students in 4th grade and above, as well as their parents, grandparents, and other guests that meet the age/grade requirements are welcome to join us. We'll explore space, astronomy, and technology; experience training simulators; complete a Space Shuttle mission; tour the US Space and Rocket Center; learn about space history; and see first-hand what it takes to become an astronaut. We'll travel to Washington DC from October 6-10 and tour historic memorials and monuments, the White House, Arlington Cemetery, US Capitol, the Newseum, and Ford's Theater. We'll also have time to visit Smithsonian museums such as: Air and Space Museum, Museum of Natural History, Museum of American History, Museum of the American Indian, and others of your choice. Our schedule is flexible, allowing you to choose which sites you want to visit with the group, and which you'd rather tour alone.
