Election Project

Recommended Posts

I have been going through old papers and photos and ran across my election project from jr. high in 1988. It was Bush vs. Dukakis. I keep going back to it and thinking about having dd11 (almost 12) do it. I was the same age when I did mine. I remember making it and learning from it (although I didn't make a very good grade, lol!).

I would be interested in ideas other people have and would be happy to post the checklist that was handed out. It was pretty thorough! There would be other resources now, of course, but I really like the idea of having her research and watch the election.

Here is the first page. I left all the old names in and her points system and the potentially outdated stuff. I didn't want to change it because I wanted to leave her formatting in and I couldn't have done that and taken the picture out. We may have to track down some forms online for some of it. There are two more sheets that I need to type up as well. In the meantime we should brainstorm some more about what we can require and how it can be adjusted and changed.
