awstgs
Does anyone use this series for middle school? I know they are recommended in TWM, but after searching, I can't seem to find anything about them in the forum. We have never used any of them. My son is doing American history for 8th grade, and I thought about purchasing the set. However, I wasn't sure if that was too much for one year. Thanks for any suggestions! Jean in CA
We love this! We use it as intro to logic material. It teaches formal logic through primary history sources taken from different periods in American history. You can match up the content with what you're currently studying. We spend 20-30 mins M, W, F. And we use a separate logic program on T and TH.

This year (7th grade) we used Mindbenders B, Building Thinking Skills Level 3, and Critical Thinking Bk 1 (hardest for us).

We have used all the books in the Mindbenders series and CT book 1, which was hard for us also.
