HappyGrace
Ds8 and I will be out and about a lot, and doing a LOT of waiting around for dd at her various activities. I hope to read history stuff to him while we wait, but I want a decent smaller sized atlas to take with us to show him the places we're reading about. It doesn't need to be super detailed-just where is Peru, where is Greenland, Columbus's route, etc. So a children's atlas would be fine, but many of them seem to be oversized. I tried to look for one for Kindle but they don't have one :( Thanks!
Irishmommy
If you have a smartphone maybe there is an app for one. I have a national geo atlas for my iPad that is great.
HappyGrace
Wah-no smartphone or any of that. My Kindle isn't even 3G-lol! I guess we will just have to carry an atlas with us-which defeats the purpose of the Kindle! ;)
skueppers
Have you looked at the CIA world fact book for Kindle? The one that costs about $8 looks promising, though I don't have a Kindle myself and haven't tried it.
Irishmommy
You could get a pdf version of some atlas and put that on your kindle. No recommendations, just a thought, though.
