Yes, I have used it.

It is very good, and teaches science in a very hands on, critical thinking sort of way. I was a scientist in a previous life, so I have somewhat of an "expert" opinion. I bought a lot of the kits to do the experiments, especially the rocks, and the kids loved everything we did.

My main complaint is that it covers all disciplines of science each year, which is not how my family does science. We do one science, say biology, for a year and then switch the next year. So I had to adapt it too much.

Free is good. If you like it, use it. It is rigorous, interesting, and fun.

Thank you both for the feedback.

I like the sound of rigorous, interesting, and fun. However, I don't know how many of the supplies I'll be able to find for the activities so that could be a major factor in how easily this program would work for us. I think I'll spend a bit more time looking through it and maybe give it a trial run over the summer if I can convince the kids it isn't "school".

Thanks!
