wy_kid_wrangler04
Dd is on root 53 and we are at introvert. The roots are intro= inside (intra, within) and (vers) vert= turn. I am having a hard time with a good use of both of those words in her definition. To turn inside just does not sit well with me- the dictionary was no help to her (or me) I have never been stuck for a good wording on this for her
Guest paulah88
I would probably say, "A person who is turned inward."
KarenNC
As an introvert:), I would say that an introvert is someone who "turns inside" for revitalization/energy/etc since introverts tend to draw energy from solitude as opposed to extroverts who draw energy from others ("turning outward").
