Miss Peregrine
We just tiled the kitchen floor. The grout looks nothing like it was supposed to. It has so much haze on it it looks off-white! :glare: We had picked a shade of brown. From poking around I see that the way DH cleaned up after is probably why it did that. It IS just grout after all and certainly not a huge deal in the scheme of things but it looks terrible...
Mom2legomaniacs
Maybe just don't clean it very well and it will be brown in no time;) Sorry! It is frustrating to have that happen. I hope it darkens up for you.
EKS
We got our grout looking nice and brown by spilling lots of coffee!
Miss Peregrine
Maybe just don't clean it very well and it will be brown in no time LOL, That is what I told DH. With 4 kids, probably won't take long. We got our grout looking nice and brown by spilling lots of coffee! Drat! I wish I liked coffee. That would work.:)
TraceyS/FL
Did you seal it? You should be able to use an acid grout cleaner on it and get it the right color. Easy Peasy - trip to Home Depot, get a good grout brush too. Although my favorite grout cleaner/acid was from Color Tile. I could go from dark brown to the light terracotta in just a few minutes  I hate my grout (and crooked tile)- i can attest that in 4 years of NOT scrubbing it it will be dark :D Someday, i'll take a hammer to it!
