Really? A game for kids that deals with dog doo.

Recommended Posts

Okay must add it is not really dog doo, but still. Is it just me or is this just over the top? My son is watching tv and sees the commercial on this and starts laughing and says I have to have that. Really? I see it as gross and distasteful. http://www.amazon.com/Goliath-Games-30591-Doggie-Doo/dp/B003CJJE4Y http://www.lundtoys.com/games/49-games/552-doggie-doo-doo-.html

Send your kids over here. They could have played a really fun game this morning!! We awoke to doggie diarrhea all over the house!

While I probably wouldn't buy that particular Doogy Doo game, I did want to mention this one. For folks who want an educational science game dealing with stuff like poo, puke, and boogers, Totally Gross is tons of fun. One of your game markers is a piece of fake snot that you stretch out as you progress in the game. We learn several new things everytime we play the game. At the end you do a fun experiment.

My dd was given a barbie dollne year for her birthday. Barbie came with a dog that she was to feed and then these little brown balls would exit the dogs rear for Barbie to scoop...we didn't keep this toy for two reasons...1)GROSS 2) the little balls were magnets, a definate no-no to anyone with kids!!

I'm actually working on a downloadable copywork book for elementary students all about boogers, poo and the like. My kids LOVE any humor associated with doo doo.

For example, we do oral work in the car for grammar review. Last week we were talking about pronouns. I would give them an nasty sentence, like "Mommy's shoes are covered in dog poo! Eww" Then they had to give my pronouns that could replace "Mommy's." They love it and it holds their attention because of the gross factor.

I think it is just you. This game is hilarious! We went to Toys R Us and two Wal-Mart's to finally find it. You don't get how loud the farting sounds are until you actually play it. We then went to Amazon to ship it to Ian's cousins.

Oh yes, my girls have that Barbie. I didn't realize what it was until I was taking it out of the package. Needless to say, the "poop" disappeared and the girls never knew what they were missing!

Let me know when you're done the book! :)

My son had a great time today because his Dancing Bears page had words like "puke" and "twerp". The goat named Groin in DB A was a HUGE hit.

I just don't mind. This is just something kids of a certain age laugh about and it'll pass eventually.
