JFSinIL
And now have to wait a week to find out what happens to Amber (duh - I did NOT get the necklace hint!!!! Seems obvious in hind sight!) and why was she on the bus with House....h'mmm. Why did they show House sleeping on the side of his head where he had cracked his skull? I would think that would hurt too much to sleep on that side. Why didn't they just stick him in a hospital bed and strap him down??? Great special effects at the end with the bus crash. Scarily realistic!

Scarily realistic! Only on TV could they have strapped him down. :) It was great. I got the hint, but dang. CTB did NOT cheat on Wilson. Did she? Surely not. House did not betray Wilson. Did he? Arghhh! So what hints are we missing? Maybe she was drinking by herself and she and House left from the bar together? Maybe it was just a coincidence? I loved, "I used to drive home after drinking, but then some mothers got Maa- duh-duh." I had to leave the room and watch in the bedroom by myself. Ds is home, and I couldn't watch it with him around. =O
Mama Lynx
I did get the necklace hint, but I cannot IMAGINE that they'd have been cheating on Wilson like that! There must be some other explanation. There must be. I know House will do anything he feels like at any time, but I would be stunned if he went that far. I hope they don't kill her, either. I like her. And I like her and Wilson together. To be honest, the last couple of shows had me worried - I didn't think the writing was as good. But this one ... wow! I don't want there to be a season finale yet :(
nancypants
Eek! You're killing me! I couldn't not peek but then I was good and didn't even read... just hit reply... still waiting for it to come on here. It's my one and only t.v. show. :D
Quiver0f10
It took me a it but then I finally got the necklace thing. DH commented @ sleeping on his side with a head injury lol. I didn't even think @ it.
Trivium Academy
It was AMAZING, the best I've seen on TV. I know ER and other drama shows try to accomplish what House did last night but in comparison- it's just kid play. Hopefully they will keep the ante up and keep it intriguing although there have been some great story lines this season. So much better than the addict drama from before... percytruffle
It was a very riveting story line! I did get the Amber symbolism right away having worked in jewelry stores and having been a rock collector. But, why, oh why the pole dancing scenario. They carried it a little too far in my opinion. Ds, 17, watches it with me and it was a tad embarrassing. I know it is just part of his personality they constantly reveal and the whole series is strew with innuendo and raunchy comments, but really, pole dancing and stripping. Gag. :tongue_smilie: Can't wait until next week though!

I was "flying blind" without warning. I missed the first twenty minutes because ds has fencing on Monday nights from 8-9 and we just got home at twenty after. I didn't catch the first scene. What happened?

I love, love, love "House," and I hope the show doesn't go that direction again. Not interested. :glare:

I also laughed at the Mah duh-duh comment, then I had to explain it to 17yr dd.
Mama Lynx
It was very in-character, though. We were inside House's head .... I have to imagine that was pretty tame for being inside his head.

How dare he constantly undermine her authority with all his sexual comments. I wish the actress would stick up for poor Cuddy the character. The pole dancing scene was too much for me. I also watch with my 17 year old son. Frankly, its a well written show, but I'm tired of the constant negative sexual references and House's negative, depressing attitude. I go to bed depressed after watching an episode. I'm almost done. I'll watch next week, but I may not be back next fall. It's just too much for lil ole me. Pam "SFSOM" in TN
Gag, too. How demeaning to the character of Cuddy, who I realize has issues, but is she not a strong professional woman? Well, but I think that was the point, right? (And no fan of pole dancing here.) His mind objectified her, but in the end he simply couldn't do it anymore. She was too strong and too professional a woman, and he desired answers more than he desired fantasizing about her. I can sure understand not wanting to see it if it depresses you, though. I understood why they had that part in it, but it went a bit too far imho. I was watching with my 15 and 17 yo and made them leave the room. I hope they don't continue down this road either. Scarily realistic! This is so funny because my dh and I were laughing at the same thing (sleeping on the wrong side.) DH said, "Why is he sleeping on that side?" and I said, "Maybe because it didn't really happen because it's a t.v. show and therefore he forgot how badly it hurt!" I also said the same thing about the bus crash... and I also thought out loud that they probably successfully made all of us who couldn't stand Amber feel somewhat guilty for disliking her so much!
Quiver0f10
Do you know if they replay it at all or if there is any other source I could find to watch it? You should be able to watch it on Fox.com in the next few days.

3lilreds in NC
Hmmmm.... I completely missed the pole dancing. Not that I'm disappointed, mind you. I was kinda in and out on the show because the Snort was not going to bed as planned. Probably a good thing - I don't need the mental images.:D

I think all the strip tease stuff was way over the top. I understand that House is a scoundrel, and don't feel soft porn is necessary to get that across. I really missed the medical trouble shooting and humor of past episodes. Much more sophisticated and clever. If they keep relying more on gratuitious titilation over plot, I think I'll be one less viewer. Cindy
