melissel
DH just brought this to show me: http://www.amazon.com/Go-F-Sleep-Adam-Mansbach/dp/1617750255/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1304042456&sr=8-1 Coincidentally, both children are waiting in their beds for me this very minute. I can so relate...

Annie G
My kids quote that hyperbole and a half post about six times a week. Which causes my husband to wonder what DO we do while he's gone to work?!

BarbecueMom
Oooooh yeah. My 18-month-old, bless his little heart, is a very good sleeper. If he's not falling asleep right away or waking up a lot at night, I know something is wrong and can't get upset. My almost 3-year-old will wake up just to tell me the alphabet. :willy_nilly: (Also, am I the only person that goes completely psycho if woken up 30ish minutes after falling asleep? DH handles the early night wakings, because apparently I scare the kids from lights out until midnight.)
Mrs Mungo
The first time I read this I literally fell on the floor laughing and nearly had tears running down my legs. The first time I read it? My sister sent it to me when my son was in the hospital. I was trying SO HARD not to laugh out loud while sitting by my son's bed in the Pediatric ICU. They probably thought I was crying. Which I was. From laughter. Isn't that terrible?

So, in my head, that was really sweet of your sister. ;) Have you read the one about Kenny Loggins Christmas? Because I read that on Christmas Eve and I felt the inappropriate laughing guilt very strongly.

Because everyone needs to see this. http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/09/party.html I had to stop reading it halfway through, because my stomach muscles were cramping so badly from all the laughing. I have NEVER laughed that hard. It was downright painful. It was great!

Because everyone needs to see this. http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/09/party.html Shame on you! You just caused me an hour of lost sleep and hysterical, muffled giggling so as not to wake anyone else. I don't even remember why I went there in the first place now. :D
