mooooom
Don't know exactly what I'm looking for, but I carry school books all over the house and leave them in different places. If I had some kind of "plastic?" tote that I could throw them all in and then carry it away... Anyone have any suggestions.
Pink Fairy
I bought a hard sided cloth magazine rack that had cut out handles (I think it's Rubbermade) at Walmart. It's cute, and it keeps me organized. I carry it all over the house. You could also check out LLBean, Pottery Barn and Lands End--they have cute totes with flat bottoms. Happy hunting! :001_smile:
Plaid Dad
We have a great LL Bean tote that we got as a perk from a bank. It is huge and incredibly sturdy; it's our designated library bag. Would something like that work for you?
Mom2legomaniacs
I have a crate on wheels. Then I don't have to break my back lugging them all around. I got mine at Staples.
K&Rs Mom
My mom gave me a canvas tote w/ wire "structure" inside; it's supposed to go in a shelf unit (kind of like a detached drawer) but I use it for schoolbooks. I think it's from Joann fabrics.

Trivium Academy
Yep, I stole my mother's- it's fabulous for carrying a lot of weight and it never loses shape. I use it to transport our lessons when we visit relatives out of town.

nancypants
Milk crates are the best! We also like to use our reusable grocery bags (if you don't want a box.)
frogpond1
and it has file folders on the side, pockets for little items etc. I put a small desktop file holder inside to hold my workbook type things upright and then fill the rest of it with my teacher books. It wheels all over.
3lilreds in NC
I want this crate http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?&langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&productId=98062&cmArea=SEARCH I have this for our school books downstairs - I had not thought of using it for the library! What a great idea! We ALWAYS end up with too many books. Well, it's my fault because there are so many good books I just can't leave any there. Rolling crate for the library! You guys are so smart! Holly in FL
I have a crate on wheels. Then I don't have to break my back lugging them all around. I got mine at Staples. This is what I use for going to and from the library. It can hold a LOT of books! I got mine at Office Depot for about $20. I've seen them as low as $15. ~Holly
