Mommy to monkeys
I really don't do experiments. I LOVE nature study, but experiments are definitely not going to happen. just bein honest. Ok. So my question is: Can I just READ and have the kids NARRATE from the Apologia books and call it good? Who has done this? Does it work well, or does it seem disjointed?
boscopup
I think it would work fine. I've only used a small section so far, but we narrated and called it good. Looking through it, I'm not seeing the experiments as being essential (at least in zoo 3). There is a LOT of text.
alpidarkomama
We did very, very few of the experiments in Zoology 1/2/3 and it was just fine. Ditto so far for astronomy (we're doing our own activities). They still learn plenty.
Mommy to monkeys
That's good to hear. We have some sitting on the shelf that I've been putting off for this very reason.:001_smile:
