amydavis
:grouphug: I followed the link. He sounds like he was such a wonderful man. It's such a nice thing, that you got to spend so much time and make so many beautiful (big and small) memories. I'm so sorry that you had to lose him far too soon. yellowperch
My brother died when he was 13 and I was 15. I miss him every day. I think that's why I had so many children (and what luck: boys!) Each memory of him is like a polished stone. I wish I had more to hold in my hands. We didn't share Voltaire; our memories are more of Happy Days episodes and Disco roller skating and snowball fights. And plans. We had plans. Anyway, I am so sorry for your loss. Very. Imprimis
Oh, you brought tears to my eyes with that wonderful memory! I lost my sister 10 years ago and every so often a memory of a long ago conversation with her will randomly come to mind and make me smile (and miss her). May your memories of your brother help comfort you (you too, Yellowperch) :grouphug:

truebird
What a wonderful relationship you had with your brother. I lost my brother in 2009, and I've been thinking about him all day today. Couldn't not reply to your post. <

sassenach
I'm not very close to my own brother, but my youngest 2 are incredibly close. I never knew that sibling magic until I had the privilege of watching them. The thought if them ever losing eachother breaks my heart. I'm so sorry.
