lighthouseacademy
My son is galloping through books right now and I need to keep providing challenge for him. I need to figure out some read-aloud books both middle ages related and otherwise as well as some books for him to read that are at his reading level but that are still appropriate for a 6 year old (and a 4 1/2 yr old who will listen in some to the read alouds). 8filltheheart
Is the 6 yr old on a 4th grade reading level? Here are some titles I have used this yr with my 3rd grader, however, I don't know if they would appeal to a 6 yr old or not. Parzival Crispin Robin Hood Arabian Nights Namesake Castle Cathedral Our Island Story

Parzival Crispin Robin Hood Arabian Nights Namesake Castle Cathedral Our Island Story Yes, the 6 yr old is approaching a 4th grade reading level. By next September I expect he will be fully there. Forgive my ignorance, I was not raised with the classics although my mom always TOLD me to read "classics" instead of Babysitters Club :tongue_smilie: but never helped me find any that appealed to me and left me to my twaddle, I know a few of those listed as Titles, but are all those books Titles? Are you using the unabridged versions or a children's version?
