Violet Crown
I decided against Trail Guide to World Geography last summer in part because, together with all the accessory books and materials one seemed to need, it was way over what I was willing to budget. But I just found the Teacher's Manual at Half Price, and it looked great; and once I deciphered the "Points of Interest" section at the beginning, it looked to me as if I didn't need anything else but the TM. We have outline maps and a couple of good atlases, and large laminated wall maps. If you've used TGWG, is there anything I'm missing? Or can I really just get going with my $8 Teacher's Manual, and nothing else? What do you think I'd wish I had?

Violet Crown
Someone actually answered this for me in another thread, and said you didn't need to invest in the other adjunct items if you already have a source for outline maps and reference materials (atlas, large maps).
