WistfulRidge
This is my current favorite: 1 cup all purpose flour 1 1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 eggs 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup oil (melted butter is my favorite, but veg oil will work just fine) 1/3 cup water Combine all dry, then add in all the wet. Stir until there are no big lumps. I usually bake mine in an 11x9, but I'm sure they'd do just fine in an 8x8 (thicker) or a 13x9 (thinner) pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool (for as long as you can resist) before cutting into them. Good by themselves they are absolutely divine if you drizzle a chocolate ganache over the top while they're still warm and let it all cool/set. forty-two
My favorite is the Baker's One Bowl Brownies recipe. Quick and easy, I can make them with my dds, and they always turn out well . I usually sub ww flour, and the only difference is cooking time - 17min is just perfect (which is *half* the rec'd time :001_huh:).

tearose
I like the recipe on the Ghirardelli sweet ground chocolate can: 2 eggs 3/4 cup of sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup butter, melted 3/4 cup Ghirardelli sweet ground chocolate and cocoa powder 2/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped (I usually don't add nuts) 1 cup Ghirardelli double chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a spoon, stir the eggs with the sugar; Add the vanilla. Stir in the butter. Sift the chocolate powder with the flour, baking powder and salt and stir flour mixture into the egg mixture. Add the nuts (if using) and chocoalte chips. Spread in a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until just set. Let cool completely. We LOVED them Thanks for sharing this great recipe. It definitely replaces the other two I have been using. Rebecca
Sue G in PA
Do you like Nutella? I found a simply delicious recipe for Nutella Cheesecake brownies. Here is the link: http://www.kitchenmonki.com/recipe/Nutella_Cheesecake_Brownies
chickenpatty
We've tried a lot of recipes and have decided that this one that I posted recently on my food blog is the best. If the other people in my family didn't mind, I would add nuts. Otherwise, they are perfect!:001_smile:

KS_
I made these for the first time the other day - they are dark chocolate brownies. Many recipes are a tad too sweet for me, and my family thought these were great: http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/desserts/sinfully-dark-chocolate-brownies/
