matrips
We've been using the HWOT Wide Double Line Notebook Paper. I would like paper that has more lines per page; this paper seems like a lot of wasted space between the lines. Is there anything you like a lot? and where to find it? My kids use the paper quite a bit- from making thank you/birthday cards to writing out their CC presentations. So I do like the idea of loose paper, as opposed to a notebook. Though I wouldn't mind finding a nice notebook as well for a journal type thing for them. Thank you!

I wish I could complain that it doesn't have enough lines per page, that would mean he was doing a lot of writing...
momto3innc
I ordered the HWT's paper with the smaller lines (it went with the 3rd grade level). I LOVE it for my first grader. He is writing much smaller now and it's great for practice.
*Inna*
We use this - http://www.mead.com/meadstore/mwv/product/Primary-Composition/09902?pageSize=6&rootCatId=Early_Learning_2&goToPage=1&catId=Primary_Writing&prodId=09902 The pages are sturdy and very easy to write on and store. Aurelia
We use the Mead writing tablet for grades 2 and 3. I really didn't see a reason for using paper with the giant lines when my child didn't really need it.

Holly
At the beginning of the year, I bought some cheap writing pads from RR for 1st and 3rd grades. After a few weeks, I realized I like the 3rd grade one for both of my DC...The 1st grade paper was too big.
boscopup
We're using the first grade HWT paper too, though I have a pack of 3rd grade paper to switch to sometime. I also sometimes just print out my own via StartWrite (you can even use the demo to do that - I used the demo for story paper with HWT lines long before I bought the program).
