SonshineLearner
So, I've always thought that the IEW Poetry looks like fun. What'cha think? We're trying for "preschool" type things... but not letters and writing. We'd like good things for children ages 3-5. If we have enough kids, we'll split them up. Trying to think of "fun" type things... some memory work appropriate for this age... and things besides useless... premade art. :)
love2read
I used this low cost book and CD with preschoolers http://www.amazon.com/Listen-Color-Favorite-Poems-Children/dp/0486438910/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1299350182&sr=1-3 and then move into the IEW later. This little known book has excellent games. I only had it for my last and wish I had it with the others. http://www.amazon.com/Teaching-Your-Child-Concentration-Playskool/dp/0895263947/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1299350094&sr=8-1 We've used so much over the years, but those two are unique and low-cost and will provide many hours of learning.
