mamapjama
I just had my hardwood installed. I put the felt things under my furniture. Now the furniture is sliding all over the room and banging into the walls. What can I do? I saw some little rubber like things. If I put those on the sofa legs will that eventually bother my hardwood?
Desert Rat
I anchor mine with an area rug. :) They don't slide when one or more legs is on an rug. I never thought of the grippy shelf liner. Good idea!~
Ellie
Area rugs are good. I have two blocks of wood on the floor between the legs of the sofa and the wall so that the sofa can't bang up against the wall, and the same thing with one chair that I place against the wall. Beach Mom
I saw some little rubber like things. If I put those on the sofa legs will that eventually bother my hardwood? We have had these on our kitchen chairs for years. They protect the floor and keep the kids from sliding their chairs during dinner and school. They stay on better than the felt and don't get dust stuck on the bottoms like the felt.
