Shellydon
I need to get one for my 1st and 3rd grader. There are many choices on Amazon but I can't get a good feel for them without actually getting my hands on them, so I am asking for recs. Thanks so much! HollyB
I haven't looked at this yet, but the recommendation in FLL 2 is Merriam- Webster's Elementary Dictionary (2000).
miracleone
We use the American Heritage Student dictionary because it can be for older grades as well. The DK Illustrated children's Dictionary is good and so is the Scholastic Children's Dictionary. (These 2 are simpler and with lots of pictures and colors).
