NCJessieRN
or I may have been concerned that my friend's K child is required to write 5 sentences a day :001_huh: and we are still doing copy work and minimal dictation! That talk really put my mind at ease and also verified what she said about writing in ps today.
WIS0320
I keep seeing references to SWB's audio talks on this forum but I do not know where to find them? I have read the WTM book and it resonated with me so I would like more information. Thanks!

mlbuchina
Me, too! My friend in FL has a dd5, and by the end of the year she is supposed to be writing 3 to 5 sentence paragraphs on the topic of her choosing. My dd7 just wrote her first paragraph a few weeks ago at the end of FLL2. My dd5 is still learning to write her letters and learning to read. You can forget getting her to write a paragrph! LOL @drexel: you can find the lectures from SWB on peacehillpress.com
Mom28kds
Where can I get this? Is it something I have to purchase?
SewLittleTime
I loved them too! Listening to the lectures allowed me to let the rest of the stuff go. It's was freeing! Took so much pressure off of my dc and me. I must say our school days are so much better since we've dropped everything except narrations and dictations. Handwriting was such a struggle for my ds in K so I can't imagine.
NCJessieRN
Where can I get this? Is it something I have to purchase? This particular lecture is $3.99 and more than worth that! You can click on the link in my pp.:001_smile:
waa510
They are really fantastic. I feel the price is a steal for what you're getting. It helps me stay realistic about dd's writing output. She turns 5 this year and would struggle to write a 3-5 sentence paragraph, although I'm sure she could come up with a wacky topic to write about. :tongue_smilie:
