blondeviolin
The latter has been my plan, but there is lady I know who is schooling through Calvert and loving it. My oldest will be 5 in May. Her reading ability is probably a little past first grade. She really just needs fluency and a few rule-breakers. (She's at lesson 85 of Funnix 1). We have planning FIAR vol 2, RS A and completing Funnix 2, and maybe some HWT (I'm undecided on that one). Would Calvert have any advantage over those programs? 5Wizards
Calvert kindergarten is very basic. Since your daughter is already reading at a 1st grade level, I think it would be too easy for her.
