I am going to use AAS with my 14 yo, who needs remedial work, and with my almost 8 yo. I have been using SWR with both and I think they will both go through the first book rather quickly. After that I think the older one will progress much faster than the 8 yo. I'd love to be able to share the student materials. Is this possible?

Maybe. You may want to read my post on this from the other day. I will say, when my kids were in levels 3 and 4, they still reviewed cards from 1 & 2--some kids who struggle will need lots of review and the materials packets make that easy. I review those early cards less frequently now that they are in 5, but we still do sometimes.

Merry :-)

I only use one set. I filled out an index card for each child with Lesson #s and Key #s listed out, phonograms on the back. I also used different colored cards for eqch child, so thqt it's easy to grab that kid's card when needed. Each card stays in the review section until it's mastered by all. So when i'm starting spelling, I just find that kid's cards before starting. Takes very little prep time. At first i did it out of neccessity (bought a set of 1 for the olders to share since they'd move through it quickly) but now I prefer doing it this way.
