FairProspects
Can anyone tell me the difference between the Base-10 set from Rainbow Resource: http://www.rainbowresource.com/product/Interlocking+Base+Ten+Starter+Set+-+Blue/015316/1298482657-817347 and the one from Singapore Math?: http://www.singaporemath.com/Interlocking_Base_Ten_Starter_Set_p/mnibtss.htm Is one superior to the other? I'm on a tight budget, so I'd like to go for the cheaper one. I'm hoping that some work with a real representation will help with our place value issues. boscopup
I have the ones from RR, and it looks exactly the same as the picture on the Singapore page. I'll bet it's probably the same brand. Oh, and if you ever need a RS abacus, the one RR sells *is* the RS abacus (I got the RS A kit and an extra abacus from RS), but it's only $10 instead of $20. ;)
