kfeusse
this question is for those who use the audio and listen to the stories. Do you listen section by section asking the questions at the end of each section or do you stop through out the section as the questions come up? Elfinlady
We listen to a whole chapter, then go over all the questions for that chapter. My DD is 9, so I don't know if that approach would work for a younger child.
ELaurie
but I think either way is fine :001_smile:
Tiberia
My 7 year-old loves to listen to whole cds at a time. Sometimes we go through 2 or 3 cds at one sitting, or while in the car. I don't stop the stories in the middle, but let them finish before any questions. At this age I mainly want her to "love history" and think it's cool. She doesn't like to do the narrations, but she makes me read them all to her sometimes, and she likes to hear them and be reminded of what we learned. My dd is an auditory learner and it would drive her nuts to stop the story for questions. Edited February 24, 2011 by JoMama
