Part-times jobs/health insurance

Recommended Posts

Upside of dh losing his job-he's a much better cook than I am:D

Downside-no health insurance (OK, no paycheck either but we'll deal with that). So, can anyone recommend companies that offer insurance for their pt employees? We're outside Indianapolis. Thanks for any suggestions!!

Yes, UPS and Starbucks.

UPS might be perfect for you. My DH did that for a while in between jobs. He worked 10p-3a....sometimes later. But he only started as a temp over the main Christmas season so he wasn't eligible for benefits. But after the holidays, he was offer to be hired as "regular" so same hours, but with the benefits. Then he ended up getting a full time job, and leaving UPS. But while he was at UPS, he met alot of people who did mainly work there for the benefits. College students, a few guys who had their own businesses, one guy who had a full-time job during the day, but needed the low-cost UPS benefits for his family, etc.
