Should I have dd write out all the definitions for the vocabulary, or is it ok to just look the words up and do the vocab exercises? The student workbook seems (to me) to imply that all they should do is read the definition from the glossary. 3andme Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 I usually have my ds look them up in the glossary and then write a one or two word synonym next to the word. I have him look up all the words even if he thinks he knows them because sometimes CLE uses a less common definition of the word. For ex. in Rdg 3 there is the word amend.
