KatieJ
I am thinking about pink legos for my granddaughter. Anyone have good place to buy them? Favorite sets for girls? She is 4.5 so I am thinking the Belville sets are a little over her head just yet. Her 7 yr old brother has NEVER gotten into Legos.
Dmmetler
The pink brick box has some of the prettier colors. Bellville sets, in my experience, are more "build and then use as a dollhouse" sets-lots of specialty pieces, not many standard bricks. As far as favorites, my DD LOVES legos in general, but the favorites right now are the King's Castle, the Princess and the frog from the Advent Calendar this year (I don't know if she's available in any other sets), Lego food and animals from pick a brick, and the mummies from various Pharoah's Quest sets. She's also very good at making a case for us needing some of the Prince of Persia and Ninjago sets because they fit into history :). bamagirl
My DDjust turned 6 loves the set in the pink box...you can make houses and lots of cool stuff. I bought during one of Target's clearance sales. It does have some little bitty pieces which we keep in a ziploc inside the box.
MissKNG
Lego sells a pink box set with 402 Legos in it and I found it at Wal Mart. My dd is also 4.5 and LOVES them!
Sue G in PA
You might also want to look into the Trio Blocks put out by Fisher Price. There is a girl set with pastel colors. We love the Trio blocks around here.
