How long is homemade chex mix good?

The butter may have gone rancid in it, but I would think you could smell/taste that easily. It may be stale. If neither of these things, I would still eat it. Actually, if it is stale, you could just re-bake and maybe recrisp it up a little. How does it taste?

 

Gah, I don't know! I wasn't going to smell/taste until y'all told me it was safe.
