Jean in Newcastle
At 7 years old, we focused exclusively on narration so that the kids learn good sentence structure and word choice. I'd be interested in a narration on this topic because I want to know what he likes about wood chips!
LizzyBee
I didn't require any composition of my dyslexic dd at age 7. She couldn't read or spell at age 7, so writing (other than handwriting and copywork) was out of the question. She's 10 now and likes to write, and her handwriting, grammar, and punctuation are not bad considering how far she's come. Don't get discouraged - just keep plugging away.
