1GirlTwinBoys
I'm so excited to try my new mixer out for the first time AND to make my first ever bread recipe. I have no idea what I'm doing but searched for hours last night to actually find a whole grain recipe that I have all the ingredients on hand. :001_huh: Was just wondering if I can replace molasses with barley syrup? If so, would it be the same ratio? Here is the one I was thinking about trying.:) I do have brown sugar and maple syrup as well if either of those will work. http://www.food.com/recipe/100-Whole-Grain-Wheat-Bread-181106 Edited February 18, 2011 by 1GirlTwinBoys
kalanamak
Yes, I think you can. For 2 T, you could replace it with about any sweetener. Now, if it was ginger bread and a half a cup....it would be different. You could even use honey for that small amount.
