Most people here homeschool for as long as it takes to finish the chosen curriculum. :D. She will need to withdraw the child from school and register him as a homeschooler with the truancy officer for the school district. She will need to fill out a very brief card with basic information about the child and the curriculum she will be using. The intent to homeschool form is the only requirement here.
