HappyGrace
I have been looking at old threads on BJU lit, and I wondered how people are using/have used it-with dvds or TMs? A brilliant df who did a super job homeschooling her dc and is a phenomenal co-op lit teacher said she used BJU lit for middle school and up with her dc. That recommendation alone is making me lean toward it! (She used the TMs, no dvds.)
Love2Smile
My guess is that it would be doable. What did all the moms do before the DVD's came out many years ago? I'm trying to decide the same thing. I'd love to use BJU lit from 8th grade up, but cannot afford the DVD's.
Love2Smile
I have used just the TM with 6th, 7th, and 8th. I recently, as in the last 2 weeks, decided not to go with the BJU 9th grade lit. It lacked, to me, the great review questions that characterized the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. I didn't want to use the DVDs because my daughter would not have liked watching them. I would have had to add to much to make BJU 9th lit work for us. I am going to use Prentice Hall Literature (just the literature portion) next year. Where do you order the Prentice Hall from? awstgs
Have you seen any of the PH lit. books? I was wondering what their middle school program looked like.
