kristinannie
and WOW! I seriously thought it was a phone book. It is actually overwhelming to look through!!!! I have ordered a lot of catalogs throughout this process, but this one takes the cake!
Guest
he he. I remember posting a similar thread the first time I got one. Pretty impressive, huh?
blakereese
I know, isn't it hilarious?! :D I have to know exactly what I am looking for when I shop there, it is so overwhelming. They do have amazing prices, so anytime you are looking for a particular item, check their prices first. My DH cracked up when he saw that catalog, and especially when he saw all of the pages that I had folded over.
kristinannie
I know! I could seriously bankrupt myself with that catalog!
Chris in VA
I probably won't order a lot thru it, but I LOVE getting it. It's like getting a big, juicy book from the library--I read it nearly cover to cover! Isn't that weird? :D I love curricula. (Need a t-shirt with that on it, I think.) wy_kid_wrangler04
he he. I remember posting a similar thread the first time I got one. Pretty impressive, huh? :iagree: I know, isn't it hilarious?! :D My DH cracked up when he saw that catalog, and especially when he saw all of the pages that I had folded over. :iagree: Mine did that also. When you look through it, know what you are looking for (ex: charlotte mason style english, or upper level math-- whatever you are looking for) and look through those pages. Quickly scan past what you know you DONT want and make notes about what you do want and have fun searching!!!!!
Mom28kds
YAY!!!!! I'm waiting on mine and can't wait to get it. Last time around HSing It helped me decide what curriculum I wanted to use and had amazing prices.

Hunter
It's fun to read. I buy quite a bit of skills curricula from them, but don't buy much of the literature. I look through the literature sections to find things to get from the library.

duckymama
It is ginormous! I appreciate having it on hand, but I only look in it when I am looking for something new in a specific subject. It is great to read all of what they have to say about each curriculum.

Hwin
I was very excited about mine, too! And then the other day I couldn't find it... It was in the kitchen. On the seat of a chair. Pushed into the table. Upon which rested a sippy cup. :tongue_smilie: It's about 25 times thicker than a local phone book, so I guess it was the obvious choice for a booster seat. (We had small guests over.)

jenncslp
I love that catalog-but it gets overwhelming and I usually end up searching on the website.
Guest
Speaking of Rainbow - is there a way to stay logged in on their website? It's the only one where I have to type in my email/password every time I go on their website..... Edited February 16, 2011 by Guest
EppieJ
 I so know what you mean! I love looking through catalogs, but I took one look at that thing and my eyes glazed over. It's definitely not your "browse through" catalog! I typically do my RR searches online.
