Then I have my 9 year old in Saxon 5/4 and Brynn 11 year old in Saxon 6/7 then they go onto the first Chalkdust. My oldest children love the Chalkdust. But looking at the 2 Saxon's we use I am wondering if anyone found the middle CLE Math more to thier liking. Easier to understand, yet still more advanced. Did you change from Saxon 5/6 or 6/7 to CLE and Love it and which levels did you go into? Also if I did go to CLE for middle grade -- could I use the light unit like I would the Saxon Math, they write their questions in their notebook, therefore not consumming the workbooks? Also Are all the problems fully worked out like Saxon does? OR did you go from CLE middle Maths in Saxon 5/6 or 6/7 and find it way better??? ANd from what level of CLE did you change? Which one did the light bulbs go on for your children? PRos or CONS to either - please. Just seeing if I would be better to streamline yet more.
