thescrappyhomeschooler
She could be one of the "employers" in that book. My 6 yr. old can't tie his shoes, and my 8 yr. old still has trouble getting the knots tied tightly, so I asked MIL if dh and his brother had trouble learning to tie their shoes. Her reply, "Well, I don't know, dear. The help taught the boys how to do those things, like button their shirts and brush their teeth." That, along with so many of her statements, explains a lot about dh! Jean in Newcastle
I was "the help" for a number of households over the years. In one home I had no name, I was called "Girl".
