We would simply read the chapter section, ask the comprehension questions from the AG, write up a narration, and then read other books related to the chapter sometime during the week. We would do map work the first day, usually, but sometimes the second. Near the end of the year (we did it in fourth grade), I used the tests, first as worksheets, then as actual tests. We tried to do some of the activities every week, too. So, no real lesson plan with objectives and such--just a sequence of doing the next thing. Dd kept her narrations in a notebook, and we usually put a picture representing the chapter on her timeline (we got them from hannahs homeschool helps yahoo group, or found an image we liked better from yahooimages).
